5-seater VTR added in to the Citroen C-Crosser range

Citroen C-Crosser range has expanded with the addition of 5-seater VTR model, which has a powerful, 170hp 2.4 litre petrol engine. The model is notable for its style and versatility. The engine is equipped with a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which enhances efficiency and fuel economy. It will specifically attract SUV buyers, 25 per cent of whom are already using automatic transmission.

The C-Crosser will be available in two trim levels - VTR+ and Exclusive. Both models will have automatic air conditioning, a 5+2 seating configuration, cruise control, six airbags, alarm, automatic headlamps, and ABS and ESP with traction control. The Exclusive model will have additional features like leather upholstery, rear parking sensors, 18” alloys and a 6 CD auto-changer.

The C-Crosser is a perfect alternative for 4X4 buyers who look for more environment friendly vehicles. The powerful engine emits just 191g/km of CO2. Particle emissions are virtually reduced to zero level by the advanced DPFS.

The state-of-the-art engine produces 280lb.ft of torque at 2000 rpm and 156bhp (CEE). This accelerates the C-Crosser from 0 to 62mph in less than 10 seconds to a top speed of 124mph.
According to Citroen UK’s managing director Xavier Duchemin, the C-Crosser is a vehicle that will suit all customer needs whether it be an SUV, Supermini or a compact MPV.
