Audi A4 Avant at Geneva Motor Car Show

Audi will showcase its revamped version of the Audi A4 Avant Wagon at the Geneva Motor show in March. The wagon has mechanicals and vehicle content almost nearly identical with the sedan and looks pretty much similar from the B Pillar onwards. But it packs a punch in its boot storage with 50 cubic feet of cargo space more than the sedan version.

Audi offers two gasoline engines and three diesel engines which promise better performance, a jump by almost 14% as compared to any of its previous versions.

The Audi A4 Avant Sedan and Wagon are scheduled to hit the U.S. markets in the fall of 2008 and will be fitted with a super cool turbo charged four cylinder base engine. Options of 3.2 liter V6, 265 hp engines will also be provided in the U.S. In addition the Wagons will have a Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

An elegant, sleek no fuss interior will also boast of a newly designed standard climate control and safety systems. The new safety systems feature controlled deployment of airbags as well as seatbelt tension taking into account seat position and the severity of the accident.

Available with a reworked suspension system, more fuel efficiency, bonus parking assistant and a state of the art multimedia system, this car promises customers a thoroughly enjoyable driving experience.
