Audi A4 Voted as Europe’s No.1
The readers of Auto Express Magazine and its 25 other sister publications all over Europe have voted Audi A4 Saloon as Europe’s No.1 car. In a grand function held at the Geneva Motor Show, the trophy of the winner was given to Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG.
Audi A4 Saloon is chosen as Europe’s No.1 car for 2008 in the decision made by experts, racing drivers and readers of Auto Express Magazine and others also in 25 countries all over the Europe. Audi A4 took the win by maximum votes in 9 countries all over Europe.
The winner of the annual Auto 1 Awards is decided by experts, editors, and racers connected to different magazines, and also about 40 million readers of these magazines which have an important role to play. Due to these factors, Auto 1 Awards is considered to be one of Europe’s most prestigious auto awards. Audi’s win comes as a great image boost for the company. It has been created on a totally new framework, with a huge wheelbase that not only increases its appeal, but also increases cabin space. It can be said that the A4 Saloon is a big step ahead over its ancestors or past models in each and every aspect.
