BMW Aim To Show The Green Way
BMW has proudly unveiled its new eco-friendly creation- The BMW Hydrogen 7 mono-fuel. This car is modeled on the BMW bi-fuel car but as you can tell by the name, will run on just hydrogen exclusively.
This car has featured in the 2008 National Hydrogen Association Conference in Sacramento and will also be displayed at the 2008 SAE World Congress in Detroit, not as a mere prototype but as a full-fledged demonstration production vehicle. BMW seem pretty kicked about this hydrogen burning car and have also justify their excitement by stating that hydrogen is the landmark fuel of the future. This is because of a natural inability to produce carbon emissions due to the obvious lack of carbon in the fuel. This makes it a near zero-emission car, which will have the ability to be refueled easily on long journeys unlike cumbersome recharging that is required for battery operated cars.
The technology behind this car will be a V12 internal combustion engine. This vehicle can easily be dubbed the miracle car as it not only produces nearly no emissions of its own but actually clears the air of some of the pollutants, such as Non Methane Organic Gases (NMOGs) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) and BMW has got research to back these claims.
So much to help the environment and with all the luxury and quality and performance assurances that come with the tag of a BMW 7 Series- This makes this car really something to look forward to!
