Chevrolet Captiva - a car to be owned
Chevrolet Captiva was launched in UK nearby June 2007, just before its near identical Vauxhall sibling Antara. Chevrolet Captiva is also known as Opel Antara, Daewoo Winstorm and all models are manufactured in Gm plant in South Korea.
The road test of Vauxhall Antara was performed and the results were surprising. Main difference between Chevrolet captive and Vauxhall Antara was that the Captiva had seven seat options and was cheaper, whereas Antara does not have 7 seat options and was costlier than Chevrolet Captiva.
Chevrolet Captiva comes with two engine choices, first one with petrol 2405cc which is linked to 5 speed manual gearbox and other option of diesel 1991cc that was available with both 5 speed manual and automatic gearbox.
Petrol model of Chevrolet Captiva was made available with front wheel drive while the diesel model was equipped with 4 wheel drive.Chevrolet Captiva LTX diesel with 5 speed automatic transmission option would be the car to have a preference for because of optimised performance and lower costs. It has 2.0 litre common rail diesel engine that gives an output of 150 ps @ 4000 rpm. It produces 320 Nm worth of torque @2000 rpm.
