Continental is participating in Europe’s largest exhibition REIFEN 2008
Continental, Europe’s biggest tyre manufacturer is participating in REIFEN 2008, in Essen, Germany from 20th to 23rd May. Tyre and garage industry organise this exhibition every two years in Essen. Continental is displaying latest developments in its tyre brands Continental, Uniroyal, and Barum for cars and 4×4 vehicles.
Continental’s new brand ContiSeal will be an attraction at its stall No.130, in Hall No. 3. The tyre seals itself after any damage. This brand was introduced exclusively for Volkswagen. The tyre will eliminate 85% of failures that were reported in the past.
Another brand on exhibit is ContiWinterContact TS 830, one of the best among the winter tyres. It is approved for 210km/hr (131 mph) speed, high rolling resistance, driving safety and mileage performance.
REIFEN 2008, world’s leading tyre exhibition is going to surpass REIFEN 2006. Five hundred sixty exhibitors from forty countries are taking part in the grand exhibition. The number of trade visitors estimated to visit REIFEN 2008 is more than 20,000. Exhibits are not restricted to tyres alone. Products like casings, inner tubes, repair materials, machinery and tools for production of tyres, and automotive workshop equipments are also being exhibited.
