Crown Honda expands north London operations
Winner of multi awards, Crown Honda, has acquired second retail site in north London to expand its operations.
Along with its well established base in Bushy Heath, it has taken Honda showroom in Hendon under its control. The site has been trading on behalf of Alan Day group for the past 9 years.
Last few months have been quite amazing for the Crown Honda team with unprecedented win of 4 honours at the 2008 Motor Trader Awards including Franchised Dealership of the Year. Adding another feather to its cap, it won same title for 2009 from another popular magazine Automotive Management (AM).
According to Tim Dibbs, Director Crown Honda, it is the right time for growth despite recession. He considers this as natural expansion and gives credit to some exceptionally talented people who are always prepared to take next step. He believes that acquisition of Hendon will allow these people to take that step.
Bernard Bradley, GM, Cars at Honda (UK) described it as great acquisition. He stated that Crown team has big desire to succeed bucking economic trend. This would enhance confidence of dealer network and customers, he felt.
All 38 employees of Alan Day have been transferred to Crown with addition of 2 sales staff to cope with demand.
