Daihatsu highlights its low running costs through ‘National Cheaper Motoring Campaign’
One lucky buyer of new Daihastu car will be reimbursed full cost, as per the National Cheaper Motoring Campaign launched by the company to highlight cost effectiveness of its cars. Any purchaser of a new car in August and September would be eligible for the prize draw.
Daihastu campaign, supported by regional advertising, would be handled by 120-strong dealer network.
Daihastu’s aggressive “National Cheaper Motoring Campaign” is aimed at attracting car to its excellent features of fuel economy, proven reliability, minimum Road Fund Licence and warranty of five years.
Daihastu’s Sirion 1.0 litre super-mini which recorded increase of 54% in sales last year provides 56.5mpg Combined and attracts Road Fund Licence of nominal £35 annualy.
Its Terios 1.5 litre mini-SUV attracts £170 annual rod tax while 1.5litre mini-MVP, Materia is frugal at 39.2 mpg Combined. Daihastu’s offer of 5 year warranty is attracting many customers to its brand and has contributed to increase of 16% in sales despite economic slump.
The five-year unlimited mileage warranty offer applies to retail sales and includes the UK roadside recovery. It is not transferable and will be in force till end 2008. Daihastu has been consistently earning high scores from different assessors for the quality of its cars and dealer services. The ‘Which?’ magazine in its ‘Car Awards 2008’ has honoured Daihastu as one of the three most reliable car makers.
