Jaguar Land Rover to recruit engineers to work on new technology and product development

Jaguar and Land Rover will be recruiting 600 employees, mostly talented engineers to work on exciting new technology and product development. It will also employ people for finance, purchase and human resource functions.

Jaguar Land Rover is investing £700m to make its vehicles more environment friendly through deployment of sustainable technologies in its manufacturing. It is looking for well experienced graduate engineers to work on most ambitious path-breaking projects.

Jaguar and Land Rover will also be launching a two year development programme in September for 80 graduates who will work on different development activities while integrating themselves with their chosen departments.

Announcing the recruitment drive, Jaguar Land Rover’s new CEO David Smith explained that the new owners intend to enter the exciting new era with ambitious technologies to build stunning new models. He cited the recruitment drive as the reflection of new confidence in future. He felt that it was his best time to be the part of British car industry.
