Kia Motors seeks to boost brand at UEFA EURO 2008
Kia Motors is leaving no stone unturned in its gigantic effort to boost its brand recognition. Its 265 passenger cars and 463 buses will facilitate smooth and efficient management of transport during UEFA EURO 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. It is participating as UEFA EUROTOP Partner.
Vehicles from a wide range of its models (Carens, Opirus, Sorento Carnival) will be the official automobiles of UEFA EURO 2008. The models will be displayed at the venues and advertisement boards in the stadiums. The UEFA EURO 2008 commences on June 7th in Basle, Switzerland. The matches will be played at four cities in Austria (Salzburg, Innsbruck, Vienna, Klagenfurt) and four cities in Switzerland (Geneva, Zurich, Bern, Basle).
Kwang-Ho Nam, President of Kia Motors Europe, while handing over the giant car key to COO of EURO 2008 SA, was most delighted to see Kia Motors’ participation in football marketing as part of its vision to become the formidable player of the global automotive industry. He aims to boost Kia’s brand awareness worldwide through sponsorship of major sports.
Kia Motors is also supporting the EURO Experience Tour, being held in all the eight host cities in Austria and Switzerland, to promote the tournament through interactive games and events.
