Land Rover Discovery 3 wins Evecars.com award of Best Family 4X4
Land Rover’s Discovery 3 car continued its award winning spree by bagging the ‘Car of the Year’ award from Evecars.com, a women’s motoring website.
The versatile Discovery 3 was adjudged the ‘Best Family 4X4’ amidst tough competition from VW Tiguan and Hyundai Santa Fe. Each vehicle was tested for driving performance, space, comfort and practicality of use by a panel of women judges and Steve Fowler, editor of WhatCar?
Alex Jenner-Fust of evecars.com commented that Discovery 3 was ultimate 4X4. It has modern looks, is comfortable and capable enough to tackle anything. She adds that even though it is not cheap, it can carry the whole family and their luggage to the top of the mountain and bring them back.
The UK’s managing director of Land Rover, John Edwards, was extremely proud of Discovery 3. He claimed that it has been leading the market since launch in 2004, receiving acclaims world over. Evecars.com has endorsed it as the choice of those who love 7-seat family vehicle which is spacious and versatile.
The Land Rover Discovery 3 is priced from £29,950. It has numerous features including Dynamic Stability Control, parking distance sensors and gives 30mpg fuel economy performance on the road.
