Lotus Europa a perfect sports coupe
If you are looking for a sports coupe you might think of AudiA5 2.0TSFI S-LINE, or BMW 325i M-Sport as they are all fast, high technology comfortable brands. But there is another very good choice for the purists – the Lotus Europa SE.
With a price tag of £323,995 with all the accessories, Lotus Europa is fun to drive. In the Lotus scheme of things it is referred to as ‘armchair’ sports car. It has electric windows, is equipped with air conditioner for extra comfort, carpets on floor and audio system with satellite navigation.
Lotus means that Europa is more suitable for daily use. It has shapely exterior, broad concave bonnet which forms wheel arches that house new 17 inch alloys at front and 18 inch at rear end. The rear end is truncated with twin tailpipes placed centrally. Grille strips are contained within curved design-lines. These lines are below tail-light clusters placed at outermost edges of broad shoulders. There is a spoiler in between which forms boot lid.
Lotus Europa has space for luggage just sufficient for a holdall or small suitcase, worthy of calling ‘boot’. For storage of smaller items it has three pockets each with buckle fasteners.
