Mitsubishi’s Lancer Sportback at Paris Motor Show
The Le Mondial de l’Automobile 2008 (Paris Motor Show 2008) from October 2 through October 19 will have Mitsubishi’s Lance Sportback on display for its European launch. This will be the first time that Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will unveil its model at an international motor show. This launch at Paris will mark the beginning of a phased introduction of Lancer Sportback in other parts of Europe.
The other models like Lancer Ralliart and Lancer Sportback Ralliart will also be on display at the Paris Motor Show 2008. These are equipped with turbocharged engines coupled with Sport Shift Transmission which powers all four wheels simultaneously.
The Lancer Sportback has 5 doors, a popular body type in European market. It has auto folding arrangement, which makes luggage compartment spacious enough through adjustment of rear floor height and rear setbacks. Mitsubishi will add new model with diesel engine in spring of 2009. The Lancer Ralliart and Lancer Sportback Ralliart models are motorised by a new turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine, mated to high-efficiency Twin Clutch SST transmission.
