Morgan Aeromax sports car to use Avon tyres
The new Morgan Aeromax car has joined the long list of latest British sports cars. Avon Tyres, which has been appointed as the official supplier, will supply its trusted ZZ3 tyres to the classic British manufacturer Morgan, for its stunning Aeromax sports car.
The Cooper Tyre and Rubber Company Europe maufactures and markets wide range of high performance Avon brand tyres.
The new Aeromax sports car with 362bhp, 170mph brand new engine can achieve 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds. Avon’s ZZ3 is the perfect tyre for Morgan’s flagship model in its 100th anniversary year in 2009.
The Avon ZZ3 tyre excels in its road holding ability in dry and wet conditions. It is best suited for high-performance handling for powerful sports cars like Morgan Aeromax.
Avon 245/35R19 XL 93Y ZZ3 and 225/35 R19 XL 88Y ZZ3 tyres would respectively fit on the rear and front wheels of the Aeromax.
Morgan has also used Avon ZZ3 for its revamped Aero 8 sports car as an OE fitment. Avon has a 17-year long relationship with Caterham as the supplier of tyres.
Avon’s ultra-high performance Cooper Zeon 2XS tyre has been chosen by the Lighting Car Company for its most advanced electric sports car.
