New Cadillac CTS-V on sale from February 2009
The all-new Cadillac CTS-V, the most powerful Cadillac ever, will be available to the UK public from February 2009. It will cost £56,495 on-the-road and £58,995 for model with automatic transmission.
Cadillac CTS-V is powered by 6.2-litre V8 engine delivering 564 ps and 747 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and reaching top speed of 191mph.
According to Jonathan Nash, director Cadillac UK, CTS-V is the extreme extension of company’s design language and performance technology capabilities. He claimed that V-Series developments have elevated highly accomplished CTS to a position within world’s high-performance super-saloons’ club.
Cadillac CTS-V’s extraordinary engine accompanies Magnetic Ride Control (MRC), world’s fastest-reacting suspension technology, which deploys shock absorbers controlled by electro-magnets that greatly enhance response time.
Cadillac CTS-V is equipped with strong Brembo brakes. These excellent features, along with dynamic rear brake proportioning, hydraulic brake assist and four-channel ABS, lend immense performance capability to Cadillac’s most powerful model built with advanced vehicle dynamics technologies.
Complimenting the left-hand drive CTS-V performance are 14-way adjustable Recaro driving seats, high quality leather and high-gloss black Obsidian finish which make the cabin exceptionally luxurious and comfortable.
40 GB hard drive, advanced navigation system and premium voice-activated infotainment package are other features which Cadillac is offering with CTS-V model that will provide exceptional driving experience even to most demanding motorist.
