New Jaguar XFR sale to begin in March 2009
New Jaguar XFR, put on demo at the Detroit Auto Show, is true to Jaguar’s heritage of legendary performance.
According to Mike O’Driscoll, Managing Director, Jaguar Cars, year 2009 has begun with introduction of new generation diesel and petrol engines which set new benchmarks for efficiency, economy and performance. New diesel XF is offering significant improvement in fuel economy and CO2 emission. He claimed that Jaguar cars fully meet needs of modern consumers and stand true to Jaguar’s philosophy of building beautiful and speedy cars.
Jaguar XF has already been recognised by two major UK car magazines with ‘Car of the Year’ awards and received 30 other commendations from all over the world. Arrival of new high performance Jaguar XFR diesel and number of changes including launch of luxurious ‘Portfolio’ during Model Year 2010, would add more to attraction of Jaguar XF.
Jaguar XF delivers more power with AJ-V6D Gen III diesel and AJ-V8 Gen III all-new engines, higher fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.
All XF range diesel engines deliver combined average fuel consumption of 42mpg and CO2 emission of 179g/km.
Jaguar XFR is equipped with supercharged 510PS (510bhp SAE) V8 and accelerates in just 4.7 seconds from 0 to 60mph making it a sport saloon.
All models of XF and XFR will be available from late March 2009 in the UK.
