New Peugeot 5008 to reintroduce 5 series
With its new 5008 Peugeot is reintroducing the famous 5 series, popular family segment in its days. The new 5008 will set new standards in safety equipment with an impressive display of new technologies. Following the common MPV size the vehicle will offer either 5 or 7 seats and loads of storage spaces.
The new equipment includes a fancy translucent head display which look like it is project on the windscreen, displaying all the driving information you would need during your journey. The display will also alert you when you are too close from the car in front of you. And with all the air bags inside you can have nice and safe hot air balloons rides.
The passengers seats can all be individually folded to form a flat floor and create a vast storage space at the bacl. They can also be inclined and moved forward and backward of course.
The car itself is pretty good looking with a huge glazed surface although the handles look more like Kitchen door handles than car handles but it is stylish that’s for sure.
The 5008 will be demonstrated in September in Frankfurt and should the Uk market early next year. Let’s see how the car leasing industry will react to this new family option.
