Order booking for Modern Toyota iQ is now open
Order booking for Toyota iQ, a modern and most technically advanced car with very high equipment specifications, has commenced in the UK. The first delivery of this urban motoring icon to the customers will be made in January 2009.
The Toyota iQ is going to be more environmentally friendly, with advanced engineering used in its design. It excels more than its eco-themed rivals with CO2 emissions starting at 99g/km, fuel economy of 65.7mpg at combined cycle and manual transmission for 1.0-litre VVT-i engine. The remarkable performance is combined with stylish looks, added comfort and enhanced ride quality. Its low CO2 emission entitles it to road tax exemption.
Toyota iQ’s unique advanced design makes it most ideal car for driving around towns with handling dynamics and stability on par with bigger cars, enabling motoring at high speeds on the highways. In spite of its spacious interior and enhanced flexibility, the iQ can slot into parking areas more easily than its rivals.
The iQ range is to offer a revised award-winning 1.0-litre three-cylinder VVT-i engine, with the option of recently developed Toyota Multidrive or 5-speed manual transmission. The prices start at £9,495 OTR for iQ1.0 VVT-i manual, £10,495 for iQ 1.0 VVT-i Multidrive, £10,495 for iQ2 1.0 VVT-i manual and £11,495 for iQ2 1.0 VVT-i Multidrive.
