Partners and customers test drive New Skoda Superb

The New Skoda Superb flagship car was presented for a test drive on the occasion of its unveiling to over 100 customers who turned out at Watercess Line Steam Railway in Alresford.

The Garland Motors and Winchester Motor Company had teamed up for launch of the flagship car. Apart from experiencing a test drive, the attendees also enjoyed a free steam railway ride courtesy of the two retailers.

Visitors and honourable guests, the Mayor and Mayoress of Rushmoor, were served with a buffet in the railway’s Pullman carriages. To add to the glorious occasion Garland and Winchester put the vintage Skoda 422 alongside the latest model.

Peter Davidson, General Manager of the Garland Motors commented that it was a great day where business partners together with their esteemed customers could not only see the eagerly awaited New Superb but also enjoyed road test of the flagship model.

Davidson went on to add that the partners’ theme “Old Technology meets New Technology”, buffet and steam train ride went down very well with everybody. He informed that they placed two retail orders on this day and were anticipating a fleet order for six Superbs.

The New Skoda Superb combines cavernous interiors with elegant new design and latest technology including ‘Twindoor’ function, which allows a hatch and saloon style boot to the user at the touch of a button.

The full range of cars will have three petrol engines and three diesel engines including Green line model which delivers higher fuel efficiency and low CO2 emission.
