Porsche set to introduce new model in Cayman range
Porsche will be adding a new model in its Cayman range that will go on sale this autumn. Cayman S Sport’s tuned 3.4-litre flat-six engine develops a whopping 300 bhp. Porsche Cayman S launched in November 2005, quickly acquired the status of a benchmark sports car and retained it ever since in the coupe segment.
The new model is a combination of iconic 911 GT3RS visuals and Cayman S’s mid-engined dynamics. It is designed with different sports driving features and eye catching 911 GT3 RS colour combinations of Orange or Green with model designation in black graphics. All these features lend it a striking appearance. Other colours Black, Speed Yellow, Guards Red, Arctic Silver Metallic and Carrara White would also be available with extra charges.
Cayman S Sporty looks glamorous with black-painted alloy wheels, air intake grilles, exterior mirrors, gear shift with alcantara finish and the hand brake lever. Cayman S Sporty is offered with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard equipment with the 303 bhp power unit. The 19-inch SportDesign wheels are pushed outwards in the wheel arches by the 5mm spacers, thereby enhancing cornering performance and visual appeal. Bi-Xenon headlights, sports seats in leather and sports exhaust system with twin tailpipes make it a unique sports car.
The car will go on sale in the UK and Ireland on September 13.
