Renault Clio wins Best Supermini award

Renault Clio was declared Best Supermini in the Auto Express sponsored ‘Best Used Cars 2008’ award. It is proving to be as popular as any new car in the Used Car market.

Renault Clio beat all major competitors, which included Honda Jazz, Ford Fiesta and Fiat Grande Punto. The judges were most impressed with Renault Clio’s range of engine choices, fuel economy, low running costs, exciting looks and style.

The former used car dealer Mike Brewer, who presided as one of the judges, was very much impressed with Renault Clio. He described the Clio as a fine looking car which had a great image and lent fun to driving. While calling Jazz a good all-rounder they labelled Clio as a more desirable car for the younger motorists.

Upon declaring Clio as the winner of Best Supermini, Auto Express commented that Clio was the best car for those who wanted style and great driving experience without sacrificing on either economy or safety.

Clio III won the accolade after arriving just three years before in the used car market. Its win is the endorsement of Renault’s quest for quality which has enhanced residual value of the car across other models. New Laguna’s residual value put it in top three slot of its segment while Renault Koleos is the best in RVs category.
