Renowned motor journalists declare Audi Q5 Best Off-Roader
More than 150 independent and most renowned journalists of Germany, Swithzerland and Austria have selected new Audi Q5 as top off-roader amongst ‘TOPautos 2009’, the best new vehicle launches of the year 2009.
The award was accepted by AUDI AG’s Head of Sales Germany, Jorg Fleske, in Ingolstadt. He was very pleased that Audi has continued to get accolades from different forums and described Audi Q5 as the high performance, efficient SUV which presented combination of sports sedan’s dynamics and versatile interior, most suited for family and leisure. Jorg added that Audi Q5 provides super technology package with options of three powerful engines, agile suspension and Quattro all-wheel drive.
The Motor-Information-Dients (MID) has been awarding “TOPauto” car and innovation awards since last 4 years. Nearly 150 motor journalists from journals, daily newspapers and internet portals were part of the largest jury in Germany.
The “TOPauto 2009” event attracted a total of 80 new vehicles to select from different categories which included ”Family Car”, “Business”, “Concept Car”, “City”, “Luxury”, “Fun”, “Innovation” and “Off-road”.
The Motor-Informations-Dients had organised a card game which involved 4 best-ranked vehicles from each category with each card featuring photo and technical information of these vehicles.
