2009 Peugeot 407 on sale in September
The new 2009 Peugeot 407 is designed with numerous interior and exterior enhancements which include new satellite navigation system, and HDi 140 diesel engine with CO2 emission of 150g/km.
The 407 range has been known for its stylish design, advanced features and very high level of road handling. Models which include SW and Saloon have been most popular for their elegance and dynamic performance. 407 range’s feline appearance has been the source of attraction for car lovers.
Peugeot 407’s air intake, with distinctive front design, lends bold looks and technical performance. The rear bumper is provided with diffuser style number-plates.
The interior looks of GT and SE models are enhanced with ‘piano black’ finish of the door, handles, air vent surrounds and centre console.
The fine tuning of suspension improves handling and ride comfort substantially. The 407’s front parking assistance enhances its reputation for the dynamic performance and ease of driving.
The updated 2.0-litre HDi 140 engine has six-speed manual gearbox and outputs 140 bhp. Its fuel consumption is 49.5 mpg and CO2 emission 150 g/km.
All the HDi engines can operate on bio-diesel at 30 per cent mixture (B30). Peugeot will also be introducing a 2.0-litre ‘Bioflex’ engine in Novemeber, which will operate on E85 fuel, which makes it more environment-friendly.
