The first nationwide Audi Day celebrated in Germany
Saturday 31st May was Germany’s first nationwide Audi Day when more than 500,000 visitors had a glimpse of new Audi TTS and RS 6 Avant models at local Audi dealership. 600Audi dealers participated in the “Efficiency and Sportiness” event. The visitors were offered free assessment of their used cars and given environment stickers by the Audi dealership. The guests were taken round the Audi workshops to get familiar with the high technical standards and dealership working.
The day ended with interesting events and a big prize game. The premier of the new Audi TTS and RS 6 Avant models was the main attraction of the event where visitors could take a close-up look and had a test drive of the top models. Dietmar Schnepp, Head of Service for Germany at AUDI AG, was overwhelmed with the great response from the guests and the wholehearted participation by the dealers. He described the event as the work of Audi’s highly motivated team.
AUDI AG’s sale of 964,151 cars in 2007 was its twelfth consecutive record. It also generated the highest revenue of €33,617 million and a record profit before tax (PBT) of €2,915 million.
