The Gallardo Coupe LP560 - 4 arriving in UK in late June 2008
The new Gallardo Coupe LP560-4, displayed at Geneva Motor Show in March 2008 will be available for view at London, Manchester, and Birmingham and Edinburgh dealerships in UK from June 2008. Priced at £147,330 on the road, its added features include 40 hp extra power, top speed in excess of 200 mph, acceleration from 0–62 mph of 3.7 seconds, and NavTrak vehicle tracking system.
The car’s name Gallardo Coupe LP560-4 has an interesting story behind it. It derives its name from engine position – Longitudinale Posteriore, and power out put of 560 hp. 4 refers to its permanent feature of four-wheel drive. The car is 20 kg lighter than the previous model.
The car has a new V10, 5.2 litre direct fuel injection engine and emits 18% less CO2 despite increased power and fuel consumption. Gallardo Coupe LP560-4 is designed with improved traction and stability at high speeds. The new transmission, suspension and optimised aerodynamics give a cutting edge in performance over competitors.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini SpA, describes Gallardo Coupe LP560-4 as a significantly enhanced version which is innately elegant and sensitive.
Gallardo Coupe LP560-4 will be delivered to customers in the summer of 2008.
