The New Peugeot 308 CC with improved dynamic performance
Peugeot, the pioneer of the ‘folding roof cars’ concept, has added new model 308 CC to its family of elegant 601, 402, 401, Eclipse and 207 CC models.
The 308 CC which is replacing the 307 CC, is wider and longer with bigger rear and front tracks which will enhance its overall dynamic performance. Increased width and length will provide more passenger space than 307 CC.
308 CC has been designed with unique styling features such as inbuilt ‘Airwave’ with controls to adjust flow, direction and temperature to diffuse warm air around the front seat occupants. Front seats provided with head restraints are generously dimensioned. Rear seats have been made more comfortable with side armrests and deeply sculpted cushions.
308 CC ‘folding roof concept’ is similar to that of 307 CC, consisting of two-part retractable roof. The time lag for opening and closing the roof is just 20 seconds even at car speeds up to 7mph. A new electronic control unit lowers all windows by 50mm automatically before commencement of any roof operations.
The 308 CC boot is highly usable with many dedicated spaces for storage, including one below the carpet to store extra wind stop. The boot area has been meticulously optimised for more space.
