Used Hyundai Car Scheme wins Auto Express award
The biggest-selling motoring magazine, Auto Express declared Hyundai’s Used Car Scheme as winner of the “Used Car Scheme of the Year Award”.
According to editor David Johns, to win this prestigious award, an approved programme had to lend something out of the ordinary. This year’s winner Hyundai stood apart from competitors on basis of Five-Year Unlimited Mileage car warranty, which provided obvious benefits to buyers of used cars apart from luring customers into its showrooms.
The award is part of the magazine’s Used Car Honours for recognising best choices for readers who are planning to buy their next car.
Hyundai buyers would get unique benefits from the scheme. A two year old Hyundai will have three more years manufacturer-backed fully transferable unlimited mileage warranty, while competitors’ cars would have a balance warranty of only one year or less.
The judges were not only impressed with the warranty, but also with the fact that every used car on the dealership court was subjected to an intensive programme for ensuring quality. The programme included history and mileage investigation, multipoint check and 30-day exchange plan.
Managing director Tony Whitehorn, was delighted over recognition of its scheme with a prestigious award. He described Five Year Warranty as the winning factor for Hyundai customers who got improved residual value and extra peace of mind.
