Vauxhall Corsa wins Britain’s Training Car of the Year title fourth time

Half of the votes cast by the road safety professionals and car driving instructors who read adiNEWS were polled by the Vauxhall Corsa for ‘Britain’s Training Car of the Year’ award for fourth consecutive time.

Vauxhall Corsa secured 43.9 per cent of total votes cast by readers of adiNEWS. It is reported that both pupils and driving instructors were very much impressed with Vauxhall Corsa’s ease of use, handling and driving comfort. These factors are supposed to be very important criteria for those sitting for hours in the car while driving or learning to drive.

The voting results revealed that there was greater concern for cleaner environment than ever before. The Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTi ecoFLEX model had won huge support by impressing driving instructors with its low CO2 emission of 120g/km.

Vauxhall Corsa was also given high preference by the driving schools, more concerned with cost reductions, for its low road tax, insurance premium and excellent maintenance services.

Vauxhall’s Marketing Director, Andy Gilson remarked that company was delighted to receive ADI’s ‘Training Car of the Year’ award for the fourth running year. He claimed that ADI’s award was endorsement of Corsa’s ease of handling for learners of driving and also being a cost-effective car for driving instructors’ business.
