Vauxhall Insignia offers free Shine Service
Vauxhall Insignia has announced the first ever free grille and light shine service for cars in London.
The “Insignia Shine Service” has been designed to highlight the importance of keeping front and rear car lights clean, especially when winter is drawing to a close.
The Highway Code demands that all lights on cars must be clean and clear all the time, however Vauxhall Insignia’s recent research showed that Britons were not taking enough care in maintaining maximum visibility of their vehicles. On average, people cleaned lights only once every 5 months and checked only once in 4 months whether lights were actually working.
Vauxhall Insignia is advising motorists to check and clean their lights more often and regularly, particularly before and after long journeys and during bad weather so that drivers get a good view of roads.
Motorists driving down to Bermondsey square, off Tower Bridge road in central London, could get their car lights and grilles shined at the Vauxhall Shine Service between 8.00am to 12.00pm.
According to Insignia spokesperson, Simon Ewart, the shine service will bring a bit of 1950’s New York magic to the city of London with a serious message – keeping car headlights working and clean for safety during winter.
